Bows and Arrows for Fun

Orlando Bloom with his pretty Barbie tresses looked like he was having fun shooting all those arrows in LOTR and he probably was enjoying it. That's because archery is fun – and very satisfying when your arrow hits the target. Want to give it a go?

Hi Amy,
It's fun, right?! Apparently, I look like I know what I'm doing with until I try to hit the target... ahahaha...
Thanks for stopping by~

I've done it, too! Pretty fun, though not so much if the bowstring hits your arm...

Hi Cib,
I agree - not so great when the bowstring gets your arm. I always have to put on an armguard no matter how hot it gets.
Welcome back from your holidays~

I have to agree, it's an off beat sport around here but loads of fun. Very relaxing (if you get past the frustration! *L*) Just watch out for the string.

Hello James,
You're right about the frustration! It's great when you get the hang of it though.
Thanks for dropping in .

Rusty,

Always wanted to try archery and it is still on my list of things to do... the closest I have come so far is knife throwing and it seems my aim is pretty good... *lol* certainly cheaper thna having to buy a bow and all ... must be that gypsy blood?

Lilla,
Knife throwing?? That is so cool! You'll find archery a piece of cake after succeeding at something like knife throwing.
