Uh… Surprise!


The easiest way to wrap a handbag would probably be to wrap it lightly in tissue paper, then put it in a gift box and tie it off with a nice ribbon – or stuff it in a gift bag.

Well, there wasn’t a big enough gift bag or box for this handbag, so I mummy-wrapped it first with tissue paper and then with a large sheet of wrapping paper.

As you would expect, the surprise factor was largely diminished, but the laughs more than enough made up for it.

That is classic Rusty.

If you really wanted to disguise it though, you probably could have used some cardboard or similar but that wouldn't have got the laughs that your project did

Janet, I considered getting some cardboard to make a box, but none of the cardboard I found was thick enough... probably shouldn't have left it to the last minute...

Haha! Good job Rusty. I had a similar experience recently with a friend who wanted a rolling pin for her birthday (as if that isn't strange enough, without me then trying to wrap it in my uber co-ordinated fashion!)

Mich - I'm imagining a large elongated lolly tied off with ribbons at the ends.... ah... wrapping prezzies is so much fun .
