Jenolan Caves face in rock


I didn’t notice this until I did the Jenolan Caves post. In all the times that I have been to Jenolan, I don’t know how I could’ve missed the stern face in the rock overlooking the Blue Lake and the road into the caves.

Another lot of scenery photos taken by running ahead to get clear of other bushwalkers, waiting politely for sweaty people to huff and puff past me, or taken while huffing and puffing on sweaty, wobbly legs

Trees in Decay

A little morbid perhaps, but I find that even in death, trees can be beautiful. These are some photos of dead trees I’ve accumulated during bushwalks in the Blue Mountains.

These figures at Scenic World in the Blue Mountains are the work of Terrance Plowright. They are a part of a proposed water feature that will portray a dreamtime story about the Three Sisters Meehni, Wimlah, Gunnedoo and the Kuradjuri (clever man) who turned the sisters into stone.

The water feature will be owned by Disability Enterprises Leura, and funds raised by its operation will be used to provide facilities for the disabled
