Spit Bridge to Manly Walk

Take a stroll past small beaches, through the Sydney Harbour National Park and pockets of bushland along the water’s edge between Manly Beach and the Spit Bridge.

I suggest starting your morning at the Spit Bridge. That way, you can cool off with a quick dip when you get to Manly and have fish and chips on the beach. It took us about 4 hours to get there. We set an average pace, stopping every so often to have a break. Some of the steps were a bit harsh on the legs.

Don’t feel like walking for that long? You can choose one of the shorter walks that make up the Manly-Spit route.

See the webpage below for a list of the walks including the distances, approximate time needed and the walking grade for each walk. Also on the page is a great map that shows helpful things like where you can enter the tracks, picnic areas, lookouts, toilets and bus stops.
