Three Sisters and Witch Doctor Sculpture

These figures at Scenic World in the Blue Mountains are the work of Terrance Plowright. They are a part of a proposed water feature that will portray a dreamtime story about the Three Sisters Meehni, Wimlah, Gunnedoo and the Kuradjuri (clever man) who turned the sisters into stone.

The water feature will be owned by Disability Enterprises Leura, and funds raised by its operation will be used to provide facilities for the disabled.*

Hey Wilson~ I quite enjoy the legend myself. I read somewhere that it's made up for the tourists, but it's still an interesting tale.
